Tony Elumelu Foundation Unveils The 2019 Cohort.

The conference which was held in Abuja, was attended by many dignitaries, including; the wife of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari and other African top leaders.
Tony Elumelu in his speech, said, entrepreneurship is the basic way to eliminate poverty. He explained that, the Tony Elumelu foundation is targeted at providing capital for it members, to start up profitable businesses of their own choice.
He further pleaded that, inadequate electricity should be tackled, so as to make electricity available in the country, and also enable the Tony Elumelu foundation goals flourish successfully.
3,050 African entrepreneurship candidates were unveiled at the conference.
The wife of the president of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, commended the Tony Elumelu foundation. She said, the project will promote social and economic businesses in Africa and also strengthen the private sectors.
As an active member, Aisha said, the Tony Elumelu foundation, shares same vision with the Aisha Buhari foundation.
Also, the president’s wife encouraged African women to join the Tony Elumelu foundation.
